Flowers and Butterflies

Forget-me-nots

A beautiful, free flowering ground cover plant in spring that generously creates swathes of powder blue in my garden. Its’ name seemed particularly fitting in May, when we were so painfully separated from each other.

More butterflies again with the holly blue, speckled wood and others broadly in mind.

English Bluebells. The carpeting of native bluebells in the woods near my home is a joy to behold with their fine, nodding heads and intoxicating to smell. Fortunately the ‘non scripta’ domineering variety hasn’t yet got its claws in here yet.
